Esprit will once again be held at the beautiful Red Lion Hotel, on the waterfront in Port Angeles. Esprit has been held year after year since 1990 in this scenic location. The staff of the Red Lion as well as the merchants and residents of this community provide a warm and accepting atmosphere for the Esprit attendees! Get familiar with the Red Lion Hotel's layout by looking at the hotel floor plan.

Each of the "waterfront" rooms overlooks a pleasant walking trail that runs along the shoreline.

Esprit is always given highly favorable room rates available only to registered attendees. Rates for this year are:

Waterfront (Main wing)	$105
Non-view (Main or Hillside wing)	$94

You must place reservations directly with the hotel at the above number and request the special Esprit registered attendee rates. Travel agencies, Red Lion websites, and the national Red Lion reservation number are not aware of these rates. Early reservations at the Port Angeles Red Lion are strongly recommended because Esprit discounted rooms routinely sell out. When you check-in at the Esprit Registration Desk, you will be given instructions on how to secure the discounted rate when you check-out of the hotel.

The Red Lion is governed by the new Washington smoking laws. You may smoke outside the lounge and there are ashtrays located at legal smoking locations around the hotel. Smoking is also allowed in the parking lot and along the waterfront walkway. There are smoking rooms available at the Red Lion but these do not include the premium waterfront rooms. Smoking on the balcony of a waterfront room is not allowed and you are subject to a $100 fine added to your room cost. Similar restrictions apply to restaurants, the Elks, and other affected public accommodations.

There are several less expensive motels a few blocks away. Esprit is unable to make any specific recommendations.
